Hailed as
the next Streisand or Garland, Broadway superstar Linda
Eder has performed over 50 sold out concerts throughout
the United States this year.
"I'm
a throwback," confesses Linda. "I can't help
but get charged up when I hear a big band. There's something
about that rhythm - I just love it more than anything."
Her love
of the classics and today's music as well, combined
with her amazing vocal range and engaging stage presence,
have Linda poised to take her place among our most influential
performers. She brings a renewed vitality and poignancy
to the timeless sound of Broadway and Americana.
Linda has
been singing since she could talk, but the starting
point in her career was a championship run on "Star
Search." Since that time, the accolades are countless.
She starred in and was Tony nominated for the hit Broadway
show "Jekyll and Hyde," starred in "The
Scarlet Pimpernel" and "The Civil War"
and will have the lead in the new musical "Camille
Claudel." Linda is a rare talent whose popularity
soars with every performance. Her sold out Carnegie
Hall performance in February coincided with the release
of her newest recording "Broadway My Way."
